We have an opening for an experienced Head of Operations professional, within a progressive, market leading food packaging organisation. As part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the production and operations functions of the business to effectively deliver against the business KPIs and strategy, thus ensuring long term sustainability and supporting growth by providing strong commercial execution of the company’s strategic plan from an operational perspective.
Responsible for the direct management of the Production Team, including Engineering, Toolroom, Planning and Repack operations, you will provide guidance and leadership to ensure effective operations and service are maintained.
This position is open to applicants who are looking for a long-term permanent position but is also open to individuals who would consider a shorter-term interim position.

Candidate profile:
Significant senior experience within a manufacturing operations role
Extensive understanding of modern manufacturing operations and processes
Ability to drive improvements in production efficiency, OTIF performance, automation and the coordinating of production and planning activities
Proven track record of leading change and delivering process improvements
Strong financial acumen, analytical with strong IT capabilities
Highly commercially astute and customer centric
Knowledge and implementation of risk management strategies and processes
Experience of managing teams within a faced paced and complex environment
Proven ability in articulating data and forecasts to stakeholders with commercial acumen
Ability to see wider strategic goals and ability to align actions to support department and organisational strategy
